The Population Register contains information on all persons who have resided in Greenland after 1 January 1977. The purpose of the register is to be the basis for population statistics, and to supplement other personal information with basic information about each person, like address and family relations.The Population register is updated with information from CPR (Administrative Population Register) where the following information is retrieved: name, gender, age, place of birth, citizenship, marital status, reference to mother, father and spouse, address of residence and more. Preliminary external migrations show the number of relocations once a quarter on months. The cruises statistics for 2015 and 2016 are under revision due to late arrival of the harbor tax payment reports.The base for the cruises statistics are the tax payment reports to the Tax Agency of Greenland.On 1st of June 2015 charging passenger taxes was discontinued, however cruise ships continue to reportnumber of passengers to the Tax Agency of Greenland.nationUnregisteredIn 2017 and 2018, the number of unregistered passengers are estimated based on: (i) harbour dues for nearest port calls for the same ship or; (ii) as 80% of vessel maximum number of passengers.

The liquidity assets in bonds was mistakenly 200 mio kr. lower that the real value, the periode oktober, november and december 2016. This have been correted the 9th May 2017.A change in the method of assessing assets in bonds and bank deposits has been implemented the 1th of August 2017. The effect of the changes means that some types of assets have changed between bonds to bank deposits. The overall value of the liquidity has not been changed. The changes affect figures from 2016. Treasury accounts received a larger tax payment of approx. 426 million DKK in March 2018 in connection with the transfer of pension funds to Denmark.
