AppBrain is the leading source for information about Android apps. It maintains information about all apps on Google Play, resources for developers and statistics about the Android ecosystem. AppBrain is developed by AppTornado GmbH, based in Zürich, Switzerland and Utrecht, The Netherlands. The two founders, Uwe Maurer (linkedIn) and Mathijs Vogelzang (linkedIn) have extensive experience in software engineering, mobile application development and the mobile ad space. Besides launching 35 Android apps with a cumulative download count of over 100 million, AppBrain has developed the AppBrain app discovery platform and monetization solution. Its apps are published in Google Play under our various subdivision names: AppTornado, AppTornado Games, Swiss Codemonkeys.
