Ministry of Economic Affairs, Malaysia

The Ministry of Economic Affairs is a new ministry and was established on May 12, 2018, after the 14th General Election (GE14). The ministry takes over most of the roles and functions previously performed by the Economic Planning Unit (EPU), Prime Minister's Department. YB Dato 'Seri Mohamed Azmin bin Ali has been appointed the first Minister of this ministry and started his duties on May 22, 2018. He is assisted by YB Senator Dr. Mohd Radzi bin Jidin as Deputy Minister.
