U.S. selected services total revenue for the first quarter of 2021, adjusted for seasonal variation but not for price changes, was $4,199.7 billion, an increase of 2.4 percent (± 0.2 percent) from the fourth quarter of 2020 and up 4.5 percent (± 0.6 percent) from the first quarter of 2020. The fourth quarter of 2020 to first quarter of 2021 percentage change was not revised from the advance estimate.

The international goods and services deficit was $74.6 billion in April, up $14.0 billion from $60.6 billion in March. April exports were $249.0 billion, $9.2 billion less than March exports. April imports were $323.6 billion, $4.8 billion more than March imports.
